The Verona PBA Local #72 is the
union representing police officers
employed by the Township of Verona.
Members of this organization are both
active and retired.
As a non-profit labor organization, the PBA is funded by
member's dues, donations by Verona residents, and fund
raising activities conducted on an annual basis. Our goal is to
serve our members and the residents of Verona by protecting
the rights of police officers and contributing to the community.
We are grateful to serve the residents of Verona and encourage you to contact us with questions,
concerns or suggestions that will help further our goal of making Verona, New Jersey a better place
to live.
The PBA acts to promote a fraternal environment among its members. Since danger is inherent in the
duties of a Police Officer, the Verona PBA makes it a priority to monitor safety conditions and
equipment such as patrol cars, portable radios and bulletproof vests and to seek better solutions for
our members. It is also in our best interest to give back to the community by making charitable
donations to various local entities such as scholarships, youth organizations, financial assistance to
families of fallen or critically ill officers, and other worthy causes that better The Township of
Verona. We are proud to protect and serve the residents of Verona and sincerely appreciate the
overwhelming support and acts of generosity that we receive.
