The Verona Patrolmen Benevolent

September 17th, 1928 when the eight

Police Department held their organization
meeting at the Borough Hall, Verona, New
Jersey.
During the meeting, Patrolman Warren Hogan was elected temporary chairman, and ballots were

Johnson, Secretary Treasurer Albert V. Collins, and Delegate Benjaman Zarr.
Today, the Verona P.B.A. represents 28 active Police Officers and also protects the interests
of many of our retired members. We have grown to be an important part of the community
thanks to the dedication of our members,(past and present) and the generosity of our residents
and sponsors.
